• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi
Dave here, Check the part number of what set you have I do not show an SHM10B in the SENA
line up... Could you mean the SMH10D-10- or SMH10D-11???
You will need that information, go to www.senabluetooth.com then click on the tech support
and tell them your trouble they will walk you through the pairing.
The tech support department there is tops they always help

SENA headset pairing - similar issue

We've had our SM10 bluetooth transmitter with our SMH10 headsets about a year. Last year after initial start-up issues. We had them paired and they would stay paired the entire riding season.
This year, I did the update just before using them and guess what? My helmet does not stay paired.:banghead::yikes: I have their 800 number from before and may need to contact them. It has failed the last 6 times or so. My wife's helmet pairs just fine!

I really like the system, but the pairing can be a "pain" when it doesn't work like it should.

If you find a remedy, please post it....I'll do the same.

I won't be working on it until we can ride again which will be at least a week based on our :cus: weather!

BTW: This youtube video might be helpful if you're new to pairing the SENA system: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9NKE0V78USs

UPDATE: I reinstalled all the firmware on the bluetooth transmitter and headsets. They seem to be pairing up well now. I used the SENA website (thanks Motorcycledave) www.senabluetooth.com.

IF you need more help, I have SENA's Technical Service number ....it is: 866-300-1235 (I had to wait about 15 minutes for a tech to come on line, but when they did, they knew how to help me (I used this about a year ago when I first had my SENA system)....good luck).

OK loaded new software and it works fine.
This is the new Bluetooth system from BRP
SMH10 helmets pair with the BT SM10 to stream the radio to the headset

To listen to the radio press the large button and both headsets hear the music.
press it again and talk.

Not sure if the command can be set to VOC.

The headsets will now pair on setup.

Life is good

Thank you all for the help

Great! Glad it worked. When I read the manual the first time it was very confusing on how to pair the units....that's why I called the SENA Tech. I'm glad you got it working!
