• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Painting Questions

I have some items I want to mount to the Spyder, but don't like the colors - so I want to paint them.

One item is chrome and the others are stainless steel.

Can these metals be painted without any problems?

Anything special that should be done?

Since they are very smooth, should they be sanded prior to painting? Between coats?

Anyone have any ideas?

I already bought paint from color rite - and their primer and some special stuff to make paint stick better--- along with a glossy overcoat.

I tried to learn about painting but I realized it's not for the dilettante. Don't know the answers to your questions but there are different chroming options such as black chrome (my fav).
