There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I use the same spray on wax and Honda polish on the Matt finish and it doesn't bother it at all .
Matt finishes are temperamental , you just have to be careful what you are using to wipe on there and obviously what wax you are putting on there ... Obviously you are not trying to polish it .

I use Turtle Wax in the pump bottle, spray it on and wipe it off. I have a RS-S 2011 and the matt finish looks like new and makes the dead bugs come off easier. That's IMHO.

I use Turtle Wax ICE. Does not matter how hot it is or how cold, spray on and wipe off. I used it on my last moto [Yamaha Midnight Venture] I use it on our cars and I use it on our 2012 Limited. Never a problem, been using it for a couple of years. Makes bug removal easier as well.

Thanks for the help, but not one of your vehicles has a matte finish so really no help at all. Please only owners of RS-S with matte finish respond. Also what does everyone use on the seat.

Check out the MikeinGA's avitar....he has the 2011 RSS...the copper is matte.
