• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Paint or Covers for calipers

Calipers

They aren't difficult to paint , just make sure you are using High Temp paint if you do it …….annnnnnnnnnnnnnnd they even make a High Temp " Cognac " match ……. VHT - SP 402 …... Mike :ohyea:

I painted mine a couple of years ago. Still looks good.

Hi temp paint should work. I'm not sure I would cover them as these puppies can get HOT :bbq: I wouldn't do anything that impedes airflow. One reason rear pads often wear quicker is because the rear caliper doesn't get the cooling air that the front calipers do.

I'm thinking a grabber blue, like from the Ford Mustangs.

I would prefer proper brake caliper paint myself, however years ago Can Am did offer in the accessory catalog some kind of caliper cover to add some color to the calipers.
