• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Paint Job

Hello all Spyder Lovers out there how are you doing?:cus: I'm looking to for info on a place in or near Kenosha Wi, where I can take my Spyder and get a new paint job for her. Want to have a few designs added to her. She's been good so Santa is going to give her a new look for 2011.

Arguss, I was driving up 94 the other daya dnsaw a custom paint and grafic wrap shop on the west side of the highway. I think it was near Ute's but can't remember now. . . . good luck

Thanks

I know you asked for recommendations for a shop in the Kenosha but as I'm in McHenry I can't help you in that direction. I can highly recommend the shop that did my :spyder2: and several others, Sharp Auto Body in Island Lake IL. :2thumbs: They have experience working with Spyders and I'm very pleased with my paint. Check out my mod thread for photos of the bodywork. :D

A what's going on I know this Spyder ur the guy that striped urs down and added a gas tank to it. At Jim Potts shop right? I'm the guy that just bought the 08 BLK/Gray one. The one that was in the Navy when i came in to buy it I saw you putting ur's back together. So tell me do they do designs? I want a few things done to her. If so it would be cool since she's still on that side of town.:ohyea:

?

So I have a question to ask all. Thinking about the wrap or getting my bike painted? Is there anyone out there that knows someone that may have both done? I know the wrap cost is very low compared to the paint job. But I all so want something that's going to last while. So what do you think?:dontknow:

Go with the paint job! The tupperware on Spyders is so easy to take off and put back on that you can ship it out anywhere and get a better price that way. I sent mine to kustomflames.com :firstplace: and was very pleased with the results, price and service. In fact I just sent more pieces to him for additional work. Feel free to check my photos. In this day and age your options are endless.
Good Luck !
