• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Packing for a two day trip to Vermont

Wife and I are going from Maine to Burlington Vt. Saturday for Beer tasting at it's finest. (We walk once we are there) ;) and coming back home Monday afternoon. Do you think we can pack our clothes in a duffle bag that will fit in the Frunk? How do you all pack for small trips like this. Looking for some creative ideas :D

Oh and any good places to eat lunch in Vermont once we get through Franconia Notch in the White Mountains? Mike? Deanna? LOL.

Thanks
Rich
HI Rich,

I usually pack clothes in a "BRP back pack and put in the Frunk. I travel solo. The temps in the High 80's day time, low in the 60's at night, According to Accu. Weather.

Good places to eat in Vermont ( depending on what route you take to go to Burlington)

If you are taking Route 100 North stop @ The Blue Stone Restaurant in Waitsfield, ( at the intersection of Route 100/ and 17), they also have a restaurant in Waterbury, on Stowe street, near the Prohib
ition Pig/ Alchemist pub and brewery on main street.

The Alchemist Pub and Brewery is around the corner from Prohibition Pig.

Have a safe trip, you might see me riding on Sunday.

Deanna

Being older than most of you I have learned a few things. All I need is a pair of jeans, a shirt or 2 and some underwear. As for the GF, buy the biggest trailer your bike can pull and let her fill it up. I've learned never say NO to a woman, just accept that as the price for a happy life.

It takes me 13 hours to drive to Vegas at 5 over, if "she" goes along its 14, just go with the flow.

:yes::yes::yes::yes:

Buy clothing at the destination? .....not in Oz

Pack rain gear. Go. When at the destination buy cheap clothing. When finished leave it in Opportunity box, after having hand washed the original clothing which you have now put back on for the return trip! Travel light, travel smart.

I guess you aren't a taller or bigger guy, Yu? Buy clothing at the destination?:yikes: ....... only if you are near Big and Tall in Sydney, High and Mighty in Melbourne or Kingsize in Perth. Kinda limits your destination choices ;) :D
