• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

P1614 code like Fligt Risk's, BUT ....

Looks like I've joined the club :(

Looks like have join you all with the TB problems :gaah:. Great day to ride to work. Started the RT-S and bam ruff running, check engine light, P1614 code. Shut it down and tried again same thing again. I had a strong smell of gas and didn't even try to ride it. I will try to warm it up and get it to run correct once I have an appointment and a replacement TB at the dealer.

I bought the RT end of June but had to return due to a bad O-Ring on the transmision cover. All updates were done while I watched the day I picked it up and again on July 6th. I was told that the third update fixed the problem and now with just under 5000 miles it has already gone bad :banghead:

19500 miles on my GS and not one code.

Don't think the two are connected but the kill switch did not turn off the engine after more than four seconds. I've noticed that it takes a few seconds on a good day but today it didn't turn off at all.

I'm happy to report my Dudley is fixed and at home. I took him to Reno's Powersports in Kansas City. I think they treated me well there and I'll highly recommend them.

:gaah:

That's just not right. The kill switch should be immediate!

I agree but it has always been slow to turn off.

PS: I lived in Manhattan for 23 years and my wife taught special Ed in Junction city for 9 years. Visited over Labor day and saw Webweaver in Manhattan, she only lives about 1/2 mile from my old house.
