There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Patriot Guard Riders. My understanding the group originally formed to block radical Westboro Baptist Church members who were protesting military funerals.

Patriot Guard Rider Since April 2006. Not able to do as much as I used to, but still do what I can.
PatriotGuard. org is national site. I think each State has their own site. OhioPGR. org for me.
As somebody mentioned it kind of originated over the "That church in KS'. I try not to use their name. However it has long since passed doing just that. Varies by State, but Ohio will stand a Flag line for a Veteran, not just retired, that the Family, when asked by the State Captain, invites us for the viewing, if any, then the same for a service, weather permitting, motorcycle escort to the graveyard. Honors at the grave site.
Again if asked, A K.IA. (Killed in action) member arrives at the airport place closet to the Funeral site. We will meet the the plane and escort the remains until he or she is laid to rest. All by lawful and non violent means.
We will do the same for Police and Fire personnel.
The best way to learn about the PGR is go on the sites.
The best way to lean what it means, is go on a mission. You will find what it means to you and more importantly to the Family's.
