• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Owner's Manual

I just got a new 2015 RTL and was told the owner's manuals had to be ordered from BRP and would not come at delivery. This is a first for me. Comments?

Tried to get pdf from BRP and struck out there, couldn't get it to open.

Spyderlovers has been a great help but still want the book.

Sounds like dealer lost it, & simply :lecturef_smilie:Too cheap to replace it ¿. Per my (redneck) understanding EVERY VEHICLE sold by "licensed" dealer HAS to have a owners manual:p They might get away with if if you dont demand one:gaah: Few reports of forgotten spare keys & tool kits as well but all included in the price you paid for. So go get it! If you got from private sale then ya ez to loose & not care:chill:. Too many excited buyers tend to not look at those items as they are happy to ride off lot, they may show you as your shopping, but your responsible to look before you leave. Sux

I agree with SpyderSteve for when the Spyder's in the garage, but when dead on the side of the road, you can't beat the hard copy. Been there, done that, no T-shirt though.

Duke-Blue, if the manual isn't behind your frunk liner you need to get up close with the salesman who sold you the Spyder.

:agree: Keep an electronic copy in your 'puter, and the hard copy with the bike.
And if the Dealer can't provide you with one; remind them that they're going to have to... on THEIR dime!

There wasn't one in my 2014 Rt LTD when I got it,dealer had misplaced it and they ordered one for me.Got it in the mail about 3 weeks later.

Manual

I keep the hard copy in the Spyder. I have the factory service manual from Green Manuals on eBay. It came with the owner's manual, accessories catalog, flat rate manual, on-line parts catalog and more. Great investment. I like having service/owner manuals on the computer. When I need to do maintenance, I print the pages I need, do the work. When done I toss the dirty pages in the trash. The hard copy remains clean. But that's just me.

Manual

Any luck??:dontknow:
Nothing on the spyder in any nook or cranny but the gps box and accessories, I had looked it over before posting this. I have asked dealer for one and hope to get one. The online pdf will be helpful and plan on downloading tonight. Thanks to all!

We have had an opportunity for helpful dialogue:-) I am confident I will get a book, at some point.
And the salesman was a go-between, I doubt if he has the authority to do anything more than greet customers and walk papers to and from the folks who make decisions.

When I bought my STL they could not find the saddlebag keys. They ended up replacing the saddlebags. then later found the keys.nojoke
