There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We got in around four just beat the rain. Had a great ride yesterday and today. We are at Microcell with Butcher, Paula, Kelly and our American Dave.

Wife and I got in today at noon. Staying at Creekwood Farm RV Park about seven miles north of Maggie Valley on US-276. It's raining hard here but tomorrow it's suppost to clear up. Three more RVers with Spyders are also staying in this park but raining to hard to meet them tonight.
Hope Lamonster's front yard (field) dries out quick with all the Spyders coming in.

We got here to early to check-in so we ran the DRAGON and on the way back down the 441 and Blue Ridge we got hammered bad . Rain, driveing rain, hail branches, and if that wasn't bad enough we got stuck 4 times with trees down. I couldn't believe how people sit in there cars and wait for things to happen. We with the help of a few other brave soul ,cut, chopped ,lifted, dragged, pulled 4 large trees out off the way. And guess who the first people through where, lazy cagers.

Cindy and I got here yesterday, Tuesday, afternoon. I went by the Wheels in Time thing hoping to get with someone from SpyderPops. The gate was closed. I had thought that Spyderpops would be there to install the heat shield. Apparently I must have been mixed up.
Some guy came up and said that he thought SpyderPops would be there on Thursday. That didn't seem right because I had thought they'd be going to Lamonts. Bottom line is that they missed out on a sale.
We're staying at the Alamo Motel with Larry and at least 4 other spyder owners.

Got in tonight @ 7:30. Rode in the rain from Franklin, where I stopped for gas @ the Exxon/Arby's. Sat there for 45 minutes when the storm first hit. Met RePops in the Comfort Inn lobby when I arrived. He & I will ride together to Lamont's in the morning.
My new Frogg Toggs really suck, by the way. I have clothes all over my room now trying to dry them out... :dontknow:

Lynn and I made it to the Hampton Inn and were greeted by WackyDan. I'm sure we looked like two drowned rats after getting caught in the hail storm on the parkway :gaah:. When we ditched the parkway we had to drive around two downed trees, under one and through the fourth. All in all it was an experience not soon forgotten, but one things for sure the Spyder took good care of us:bowdown::bowdown:.

We arrived at A Holiday Motel at around 6:30 today. Margie and I got soaked! It started to rain just East of Nashville this morning and poured for the next 5 hours. Oh well, took I nice hot shower and warmed up. Had a meal delivered to the room and we're nice and comfy now. See everyone at Lamont's place tomorrow.
