OK I have a question...I went online and registered for the Maggie Valley owners event but I haven't heard back frm them. Is this usual?? Or should I be calling someone ?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Try again and check your e mail. If that doe not work, just come to the tent at the fairgrounds in Maggie Valley and they will take care of you. They are really nice folks. They do have a strange sene of humor though. When I registered in 2011 at the tent they handed me my paper work and it was in French. I asked for an English copy and they said "No, learn French!"
for the rest of the event every time they saw me they would speak to me in French. Finally at the end of the event they ave me an English event packet. Very funny.
