• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Just wanted to let everyone know that our PE edition Spyder and it's color matched Escapade trailer are over in the For Sale and Trade section:yes:

Joking aside, They are good machines. I had one and kept it until the RT's came out.

I am NOT getting rid of mine.... it's paid for, it's fun' it's trouble free, it's modified to fit me.....
what more could a guy ask for except a new GoldWing.

I'm still riding my 2008 PE SM5 Spyder. I love it! It still gives me a thrill. A lot of good memories invested in that machine. I'll never forget the 27 hour, 1,485 mile ride Lamont & I did in one shot from Albuquerque, New Mexico to East Tennessee back several years ago. Don't ever plan to do that again. But we did it once! Believe me! Once is enough!

I hope whoever ends up with it has as much fun as the rest of us have on the original Spyders.

Good luck with your sale!

Ron, we do tend to remember those rides that were a good idea at the time, but no way would we repeat them. One of mine is a goat trail of a road (although paved) that follows the Rogue River from I-5 to the coast. That's just one.
