• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oversteering

everyday that I ride, it takes me a couple of minutes to adjust to the steering aspect. and you will... in time, get used to the steering.

the power steering freaks me out a bit. you touch it, and that's where its going.

I ride a curvy mountain road to work and back, everyday; so I get a workout, and love it. it has one tight switchback and numerous curves, with only a few straight shots. it's a training course for me... in preparation for Deal's Gap in the spring.

sidewinds and truck tailwinds just suck. its a big thing to get used to. but you do get the hang of it, as you go.

I don't have much issue with sidewind or truck vortex. I think it has to do with the size windshield you have.

The Spyder is better than 2 wheels with both conditions. But then I didn't have all that much trouble with 2 wheels in wind either.

Guess it's all in what you're used to.

:agree: Of course, any 2 wheel history I may have had is just a distant memory now so I can only speak to the Spyder. But cross-wind and truck vortex are not an issue for me either. 14 has the little windshield on it and the RS-S has the Ultra touring shield, and yet I don't feel much difference between the two. I think that making the corrections are just second nature to me and I just don't notice. I mean I feel it, but it's just not an issue...
