• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

A Bigger pedal is Nice if your an Old Fart that probably needs "Depends" in your trunk? BUT for us that still have Reflexes it causes a Delay in the amount of time you respond to touch the pedal?

Isn,t it Nice how "Threads Get WAY Off Topic?":yikes:

That's, "Olphart", to you youngsters...
And it causes a whole lot MORE delay, when you can't find where the hid that tiny pedal!

:agree:

I'm really quite amused by the talk of the milliseconds of delay being critical. Driving a car there is a delay when your foot comes off the gas and switches to the brake, and we never think twice about it. On a motorcycle there is a delay when your fingers let go of the grip and extend around the brake lever. Nobody ever seems to worry about those. My advice is to pretend you have drum brakes...and allow a little more following distance.

Still way too much off topic discussion is all. I wish the wider pedal they do sell had a nice looking rubber grip but at least it works great.

Are you talking about the one from TricLED?
It's got a nice ribbed surface on it... VERY functional!

Do you think that it looks a bit "retro"?

I agree. I have one (from Tricled) and if I had to score it on a scale of 1-10 on appearance, it would be a one. I may go with the oversized ISCI pedal.
