• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Out of control!

I've seen some videos of Triked-GoldWings clawing their way through the Tail of the Dragon...

... on BOTH sides of the road in the turns! :banghead:

I do like the number of lights on the back end, but seeing that wheel lift up makes me really glad I went with the Spyder over the conventional trikes I was considering. I knew you could make the wheel lift but I was under the impression that it took quite a bit more to do so.

in the 90's i had 2 yamaha trikes with wheelie bar, yeah i flipped them a few times. remembering those days was the reason
i chose a :spyder2:. bent an axle one time, lucky i walked away.

Whoa..!!

If any three wheeled vehicle needed to lean in the turns.....this would be the one.. hope this is at the slowing down point...

And about the time that the rear wheel starts to do it's imitation of a peeing male puppy...

...The steering gets all sorts of wonky!! :yikes: nojoke

After riding the old Honda 3 wheeler I knew I was not interested on a Gold wing Trike. The spyder just seems so much safer to me.

Road a Honda 3 wheeler many moons ago and found the only way to make them steer at speed is to gas it hard enough to have the back end slide, otherwise it's over ya go. AND don't put your feet down(don't ask me how I know this)

I know we may not be able to beat a GW trike in a straight line----- but on a curvy road????

Tight curves on a standard trike cause::::

Love the Nanny

Have to say I have lifted the front wheels a couple of times on the Spyder and the Nanny is there to bring me back to earth. "Our Nanny is a Good Nanny! She keeps us safe" and on the road! And she's OK with 100mph!:yes::yes: under very controlled straight ahead driving situations only!:roflblack:

As much fun as we're all having while kicking sand in the faces on the couple on the Triked-Wing; that bike has only 5 things in common with the old ATCs from thirty years ago:
H
O
N
D
A

That's it!
Those little ATCs were meant to be pounded over terrain that'd make walking a touch chore... The lack of suspension on the early models gave a immediacy to the feel and handling of them, and they were a BLAST to pitch sideways with the throttle pegged!
Then the Safety-Crats made everybody get out of the pool... :gaah:

if you saying its impossible to flip a spyder. .. I want some of what you are smoking..

Lamont was also captured in a photo on his Spyder with his front wheel off the ground........ All trikes can lift a wheel if pushed hard enough. :doorag:
