There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Out for Breakfast, Spyder was a hit!

Wife and I took a little ride to the Lower Swatara Fire Company (local to us) for Motorcycle breakfast this morning, a nice cool day for a ride. It's a smaller event as the local bike breakfasts go, and we didn't even get the engine turned off before we were surrounded with questions. This never happened to us when we took the Ultra Classic with the Voyager kit installed. We eventually got inside to eat! There were three other RS models, one owned by a friend. Another RT model pulled in before we left, a 2012 RT Limited in white. The woman rider appeared to be in a hurry to get inside to breakfast with the others she rode with, so she wasn't talkative when I asked a couple questions except to say hers was a 2012 model and she didn't like the color of our RT. Well, that's why there are different colors......different strokes and all that.

Here's hoping there is a Sport model with RT ergonomics in the 2013 lineup!

I read your post thinking your spyder was hit, inadvertently dropped the "a", now it makes sense, I kept reading to see who had hit your bike while having breakfast inside :roflblack::banghead:

glad i'm not the only one omitting important "words"....make it 5 :roflblack:

and very nice of the lady to say she didnt like the color of yours....really?...wtf...:banghead:

Nasty lady!!

A couple months ago, I was gassing up and a Spyder pulled in an isle or 3 over. Before I left, I walked over to say hi. He didn't say anything, just looked at me like I was even uglier than I really am. So, I said hi again. He turns and shouts something like "look, I'm here to gas up and leave. Get the hell away from me and leave me alone." I answered with something about his mother and doing something to himself and left.

I have never met a Spyder rider who was anything but friendly. Maybe he's from PA and was in a hurry to get home to his wife with the white Limited!!

"It too shall pass" - hard to remember to be nice to morons when one acts like, well, a moron.

Best to ya  and be sure to tell the lady I met her husband in Kennesaw, GA this summer!!

I have to resent that remark that maybe he is from PA.:lecturef_smilie: Every rider I met here, regardlest of what they were riding is friendly. As much as I hate to say this but my nickname is also Tuck. :yikes:Now I guess with an attitude like that I might change it to Grumpy.................

This thread is going in the wrong direction, and probably due to my choice of words. No where in the original post did I say the rider was grumpy, just "appeared to be in a hurry". I would have enjoyed a longer conversation but it wasn't possible at that time. For all I know, those folks came out after breakfast and spent the rest of the morning talking motorcycles.

It is interesting that the lava bronze and tan seat is just one of those color combination you either love immediately, warm up to, or it just doesn't do anything for you. My wife loved it just from the pictures and I was on the fence until I saw it in person. There were several of the LB/Tan available locally until the incentives came out, then they sold rapidly and the local dealers could not get another. I ended up going out of state to purchase, with a clear conscience as I tried to buy locally.

Additionally many of the local and out of state sales persons told me they thought the LB/Tan combo would not sell. The owner of the dealership I purchased from in NY told me he made the same observation at the sales meetings, and at that time he had several of the LB/Black seat combo left and only one more LB/tan .
