• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Out for a nice 100 mile...

It's what we are required to have....We now have ANPR scattered around the road network.
These automatically record your number and check against the central computer records to
discover if you have valid insurance, road fund licence and just to see where you're going!! :banghead:

They track us here so the law knows when to come & break into our house & take what they want. Have to have multiple vehicles so they are not sure who is home. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

so I went for a 100 mile ride today too -- got home with just over 3400 miles so now I'm ready to have it serviced when they install most of the rest of my back-ordered accessories.

Beautiful pics. I went to Vet school in Fort Collins 15 yrs ago. Pics brought some memories.
Love the F3!

Same in Australia

Hi Geoff,
We have fixed ANPR and ALL our highway patrol cars can scan number plates as well, up to 5 a second and see if the vehicle is unregistered or wanted for anything etc. They have just about eradicated unregistered vehicles on the road. = Very little revenue collecting now for the police.

Latest news for me is get the f3s on around 20th June (middle of Australian winter) . That will make it a full 9 month wait (ordered 12 Oct 2014).
So glad to see you got yours before full term. I am glad to see everyone is very happy getting theirs but it is worse than waiting for a real baby.
At least when they come to Australia all (nearly nil) problems will be sorted out. I just hope I will not have to wait a year for any accessories.

I was allowed to at least test my number plate on the UNregistrable one they have at the BRP head office. Looks good, a bit smaller than yours.
I go to the official Club BRP Australian launch on May 12 as a VIP customer, where I get to actually ride one. They may have to pry me off it.

Love to see a picture of your F3S out front of MI5 headquarters! May be able to start a rumour that they will be using an F3S in the next Bond movie? That would be cool.

Like your posts especially as you have an almost Australian version. Glad to here the small sprocket helps to eliminate vibrations. or maybe you are going too rapidly past the vibration zone too notice any?

Nice pictures, great looking bike...
What jacket are you wearing??? goes good with the bike colors.
Congrats on getting out and enjoying your new ride.
