We'll be staying at the Hampton Inn in Cherokee which is right near the Holiday Inn, and is cheaper.
Plan on arriving the 15th, riding out of Charlotte down to south of Greenville, SC to pick up Rt 64 and run those twisties.
That said, some of us are planning to head out of Cherokee on the 16th and take the rough route below to Lamont's. * that is to Mosheim in general and not right to Lamont's homestead.

Lamont and others have raved about 209/208 and it looks like 107 will be a nice diversion on the way back.
I imagine many of you are already scoping out this same route. Should have my brother on his Harley, and anyone else that wants to tag along.
The big difference this year, is that we should probably head out of the BBQ a little earlier than usual ( I've always left at dark or just before dusk ) as that is a road that I wouldn't want to be on at night.
Anyway... See you in June.
