There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Rip dick, he was a great guy to hang with, helped me out on several trips. He will be missed

It breaks my heart to hear that Dick has left us. I only met him three times but what a great guy and what great stories he could tell. The Spyder community will sure miss Dick as he was truly one of a kind.

One of the special people.........

that you meet in life and remember. Dick didn't care if he knew you or not, he always had his infectious smile and willingness to help anyone do anything they needed done. There will be a void at Spyderfest and MoGang gatherings without Dick. If I can be only a small amount of the person Dick was, I will consider myself to be successful in life.

Prayers and positive thoughts to Dick's family and Spyder family.

Jim

I met Dick at SF 2013. We kinda hit it off right away. He was on the Vets Ride that year, I think as a sweeper(?). We talked quite a bit over the next couple of days about military service, his missions and of course Spyders. He was truly a nice guy and a gentleman. I know he will be missed, especially by the MoGang, and we who've had the pleasure of meeting him. There will be a void at SF 2015. Now he is again joined with Marna to celebrate life eternal.

I will miss his smiling face. I see from his obituary that he was a Leap Day baby maybe that was why he was so young at heart. RIP Dick.

Rest in peace, bro,...

Aww. 😥 I'm sorry to hear this, terrible news. When my wife and I met Dick at Lamont's in 2012, he had sensed her nervousness, being with a new group of people, and completely out of her element, and really made it his mission to make her feel welcomed and comfortable. I'll forever be grateful. My condolences to Dicks family, the MoGang, and to everyone that called Dick a friend. God speed, Bro. Rest in peace.

We're only here for a short time

:( Sad news, Teddy & I will keep his family and loved ones in our thoughts and prayers:pray:

Richard Riedel

Even though his time among us on Earth has come to an end, from the comments, his Infectious Spirit lives on in all who crossed his path. Although I was never blessed in meeting Richard, I wanted to share a simple image a friend sent to me and my wife during our time of loss. It brought us a sense of peace and understanding. May you Rest in Peace in HIS loving embrace.
