There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Our First Snow is Here

ARtraveler

R.I.P. Dwayne
We are finally getting our first snow of the season in the Chugiak Area. Actually a bit late in October, compared to other years.

It will not amount to a major quantity, but I am now incentivized to hang up the riding season for the year. They are predicting 3 - 5 inches will fall.

Put the Stabil in the tanks with a fill of fresh gas a couple weeks ago on all three bikes. The 2011 got put away then. Today it will be the 2014 and the Vulcan.

This will be a little earlier for me than previous years--but--that is okay.

Only 154 days until April first. Then I will be thinking of riding again.

Now, I will be in the read and post mode.

Not ready to put the Spyders away yet. In fact we are going to pick up Kathy's new 2018 F3L tomorrow.

I did put the snow tires on the C-Max today.

Reality literally slapped us in the face last Saturday. Our group, 18 Spyders, rode in 45mph winds, 35* and huge snow flakes. Near white out conditions for about 5 minutes, and then on and off for a couple hours. The group stopped for lunch and everyone's bikes were slush covered.....But...it's Wisconsin, and a couple hrs later it was sunny and 40* but still windy. Our RT is "ready" to put away, but I'm holding on just a bit longer. Got a full tank of fresh/treated gas in it now, and a thorough bath the other day when I changed the oil/filter and had all the panels off. We had a great summer, I'm good with parking it now if need be. Once the road salt goes down, then we're definitely done.

Up in the higher elevations they got the "White Gold" snow. And Killington VT is ( open) this is a ski area.

I put spyder in hibernation this past Friday.

I have all wheel drive vehicle ( 2018 Equinox Chevy) I am ready for the "White Gold" snow.

Yeah me too. I think I’ll keep my Ca mouth shut about weather right now.

At the very least I hope the east coast doesn’t get slaughtered like it has the last two winters.

I like winter, so I don't mind too much. Looking forward to grooming some snowmobile trails.....
My other half( Adrien) and I look forward to winter, so we can put some miles on the sleds this year. This years winter ( here in the northeast they say will start out mild, then in Jan, Feb. we will get the cold weather).

We got six inches of the pretty white stuff. It now looks like winter wonderland. All done with riding for sure until end of March or so.

Going to have to fire up the snow blower to clean the driveway.

We got our first snow here in Utah but it has mostly melted away by now. Since I don't ski any more or snowmobile Idon't really look forward tot he snow other then we have to have it for our water. If we have another year like last winter we will be very thirsty and brown.

Are you glad you did, or wishing you hadn't, gotten the Equinox now that you're in the job search mode? I've had both feelings during hard times in the past.
Yea, I am glad that I did get my Equinox when I did. This week-end I'll be doing my cover letter( I already have my resume done).

So on Sat. I am going to send my resume to some company's. I wont have any problems finding work, because of my work experience, job knowledge, and have been with the company for 19 years. I am staying in the manufacturing sector.

I'll be fine.
