9 spyders showed up with 6 going on the ryde with 4 no shows
perfect size group for first run. a marketing rep. from BRP was also on hand to document the ryde although he did not join the ryde.
after hellos and checking out what others have done, left marina del rey and headed out on PCH thru malibu beach and arrived at santa barbar pier.
after lunch on the pier and shared future plans for spyder, we headed south on 101 and cut across 126 and waved off diggittt and redviper at I5 and headed south.
i was hoping to stop and say good bye to those 2 but there was no place to stop
only problem was loosing "papa" but we were near I5 so i doubt he will have any problem. i guess non-stop ryde from santa barbara to los angeles was bit much for him or his female passenger had to stop. please please on our next ryde, if you have to stop for any reason just pull ahead and change lanes and we will follow you.
special thanks to redviper and diggittt for coming all the way down from san jose and bakersfield and also powerbyaj from oceanside.
as ryders waived good bye, went on their way, i was left with only loneliness but only until next ryde
next ryde will be posted soon and i am estimating there will be double the number of spyders.
