• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Our Deepest Regret

Air Wing Guy

New member
It is with deep regret that we must inform you that owner and inventor of Baker Built Air Wings, Bruce Baker has passed away today at the age of 83. Bruce loved to travel especially on his motorcycle, he loved his wife Barb dearly, and devoted his time to the Gideon Ministry. Bruce is now rejoicing in his heavenly home where he has longed to see his Jesus and lovely wife "Barbie". Please keep the rest of the Baker family and the employees of Baker Built in your thoughts and prayers as they begin to journey onward in the days to come.

He's been a long time supporter of this forum and the Spyder community. He will be missed by many of us. Prayers for the family.

So sorry to hear this, all of my best wishes to his family. May he rest in peace and happiness.

So sorry to hear of Bruce's passing. I had dealt with him back in the early days of his company and always enjoyed him and his products on my Venturers. My condolences to the families.

Godspeed, my friend. Prayers to the family. Bruce and Barb were the nicest people I’ve ever met. Beloved by everyone, they will be missed. Joe

Its always sad to hear of the passing of a good man, or woman, but that is the reality of our world.

I've not felt a need for Baker Wings on my Spyder, but they were a huge plus when I rode a Goldwing. Not so much for keeping airflow off of my body, but for directing airflow onto my body during hot weather and when that big fairing was far too effective in blocking the wind.
