• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OUR 14 YEAR OLD CAT

Sorry for your loss. We are in the same position as you. Had to put Abby, one of our rescue cats, to sleep this past Saturday evening.

14 YEAR OLD CAT REDUX

Our family would like to thank the Spyder community for all of your heartfelt condolences and good wishes. It is wonderful to be part of a community where folks come together to give some comfort to folks who have lost loved ones. Your kind thoughts are a blessing to us, and we are humbled at the many notes that we received.

Bob D, thanks for the link to Rainbows Bridge. I knew about this, but had forgotten about it. Thanks again.

Rawhide Kid - If you do by chance name your dog Moo, both our family and our Moo would be honored.

Again, many thanks to all of you. Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

I am so sorry for your loss. I had 2 younger cats that I had to put to sleep due to what's called around here as Bobcats disease. It is transmitted by ticks and is terminal for house cats. My two were put to sleep a week apart. They and my dog of 14 years are buried in my yard and I get to see them every day. So I know how you feel, it is as bad as losing a beloved relative. In my case I don't have kids and so the only "kids " I have are furry and 4 legged!!! I have since acquired 6 cats and a SPOILED ROTTEN Schnauzer!!! They all take in all the scratches and pets they can get and then some!!! Cats are somewhat demanding:duh:.
