• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hey I was wondering if any of you Spyder owners still have a two wheel motorcycle. I am missing riding two wheels and I am seriously considering buying some sort of used two wheel bike.

Only thing we now own with 2 wheels are our pedal bikes. Don't miss any of our old motorcycles (well maybe the Kawasaki Eliminator a little).

I have a Piaggio BV 250.
It's a scooter, but at 250 cc, I can do 80 mph on the highway.

between the two of us we've had as many as 7 bikes in the garage.

In all honesty we ride more than we Ryde, the Spyder is our pack mule and two up machine.

I have a Yamaha Raider after sitting for the last year I registered it so my son could ride with me when he came up for vacation sense then I've taken it out a few times but my F3 is still my main ride.

I am looking at getting a two wheel bike just to satisfy that need for riding on two wheels again. The Spyder would be mostly relegated to two up riding on the weekends or after work with my wife. It will most likely wait until next spring as we are heading into fall and winter here in Michigan.

Yup

I still have my Thrux but with my injuries and their proximity to major arteries, the doc says I should sell it cuz I might not survive a fall/crash.... :-(

This is an older pic:

So if someone here is looking for a fully built thruxton and I mean fully, lemme know. We can talk offline...

I have bad of habit of putting my feet down on a stop light or sign even I ride my spyder. My two wheel mc is really a culprit so you know what I mwean.

0729141909.jpg had this one for couple years , 650 , fits me well ... always checking into a larger bike , in the 1100 or so range !

My ride is a 2012 Victory Ness Vision. The wife's ride is the 2009 Spyder GS SE5. Love the Spyder - but won't ever give up my Vision. ;-)

In the years prior to the Spyder (2008) I have experienced every rice burner bike, some brands up to five different flavors. No HD, and no German or Italian flavors. From 80cc to 2000cc and a lot in between. Been on two wheels since 1965 or so, almost 50 assorted.

When I went :ani29: in 2008, I sold my Vulcan 2000. Missed two wheels so I re-upped for a Vulcan 900 LTD two years later. Fit me like a glove and I loved it. I then started having major hip issues and was afraid that I may have balance problems. I traded it off for a second :spyder2: for my friend Linda. We are now a two :ani29: family, but I continue to drool over the latest offerings on two wheels. Currently, I like the big Indians. I don't foresee adding one to the stable because of ongoing hip issues.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

I have 2 motorcycles that I had before we bought the :spyder2:.

My wife couldn't enjoy curzing on my ZX-11:yikes: and we went shoping for another bike. The V-max caught her eye and I said with " just a few mods" we could cruze on and did. Then she said she wanted something smoother with better win protection, ect. I found the Honda Valkyrie in Carson City with low miles andsome custom paint. " With a few mods" we toured on it for years.

So I still have the V-max and the Valk and ride them both. The Valk is slightly modded and a great dance partner considering its size. The V-max is modded a bit also ---- just hang on.

Kaos:)

I still have 2

I have 2, 2 wheeled motorcycles and a Spyder I just can not part with 2 wheels for good.

I chose the M109 because I wanted a muscle cruiser, and I have owned 2 of them before. They have remind me a lot of the new F3, and since I wanted a 2 wheeler, and something that I could ride solo on, this fit the bill.
