Orlando - Local independent Mechanic for Can Am Spyders

Does anyone know of any mechanics that work on Spyder's in Orlando. The shop labor rates in our local dealers are getting very high ($130) and now they are adding other costs like $25 shop supplies. I'm coming up on 13K miles and I know I will need rear tire, Pads and oil change. Even if I buy all the parts my self the local shops is going to charge me 3.5 hours for the work ($130 * 3.5 hrs) close to $500 in labor.

If anyone know of a local Can Am let me know.

If you are willing to drive to Melbourne, I can give you the names of two shops that work on Spyders at $70.00/hr.

$70/$80 per hour is reasonable, however, $130 per hour + supplies is because you are a spyder owner. In addition, you have to factor in rapidly increasing inflation.

Many years ago I was working for Yamaha when they raised the labor rate (overnight) from $25.00 to $100.00 per hour. Greed and profit will always triumph quality work and customer service.

This is where I usually go. They are closed on Monday. VERY busy. Might take 2 - 3 weeks to get things done. Oil changes, etc. I on't know how long. $70.00/hr shop rate.
