Ordered a new helmet today. Wife thinks its ugly as a mud fence on a rainy day and she asked What i am going to do with it, Simple. When we ride 2 up I will wear my ls2 that has the sena communications and when I ride alone I will wear it. I asked her how comes she's complaining, you got more than 1 pair of pants, right... hyea:

I like it and the shield but i am 45yo and feel like im 20yo on my Spyder. I am going to guess she doesn't want to look at a chickens ass for hundreds of miles.

Maybe you can get something along the lines of this to keep her mind off of it.

Great helmet!

Absolutely nothing wrong with the LS2 line of helmets. I recently had trouble with my Nolan n40 while at Spyder fever and bought a LS2 569 ... Turns out it fit better, is more comfortable and is much quieter than the n40 as well as a speed n strength modular I have ... it is now #1 in the stable!

Of course ... The chicken just makes it that much cooler to wear!

The wife just dont understand why I need 2, It s a Valentino Rossi replica from when he won his 9th GP championship. The theory behind it is old chickens don't lay eggs, they make a better broth which means they get better with age. I used to watch him race years ago, the man is a machine on a motorcycle.

I have two, one is a Bell 3/4 helmet for most days and Rydes, it has a Sena so that I can speak with my wife when she is 2 up or answer my phone while ryding. The other is a decorated Outlaw 1/2 helmet that I wear to certain veteran events or parades.

Yes, I remember. I think it was 1966 or '67 when my ship was at MINSY in Vallejo, CA and I'd tune in to that show every morning. Brings back memories.
