• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Options for foot pegs on RS

Girlfriend and I took a long ride and her legs were badly cramped.

Any good after market peg replacements that would let her legs ride further forward?

She just need her own RS, riding one up is just brilliant, riding with a pillion feels like attending a house duties, something you have to do but not looking forward to it, oops.

My GF has used my Seal FloorBoards on both my RS and now my RT. She has fairly long legs and we just fold the passenger pegs up and forget them.

Ride in comfort,

John

I bought some after-market extensions and had them on my Spyder for a couple of months, but decided I also needed something for myself also so I made a set of floorboards and attached them to the extended passenger footpegs. Since then, I decided to make another set with floorboards for myself as well as passenger floorboards. I still have the first set and I could sell you that set. Here's a pic. If you're interested or have questions about them, email me at [email protected].

Not sure what you have for sale? Are they the passenger extensions alone or some kind of floorboard?

I installed the Rivco passenger floorboards on my RS. http://www.rivcoproducts.com/products/home.php?cat=435

There are two arm lengths available-- 5" and 7", I went with the 5" and it's plenty (I think the 7" would bring the boards too close to the driver's pegs, but that's an option, too).

My GF likes them, she's 5'10" and has plenty of room with them. They look pretty sharp, too.

Only downside to the Rivco boards are that they don't flip up to stow. This doesn't bother me 95% of the time, but it does block the parking brake-- I have to wiggle my boot in there to engage the brake while sitting on the Spyder. I mostly solved the problem by installing the ISCI parking brake extension, so if you went the Rivco route be forewarned that you might find you want the brake extension as well.
