There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When you post a message, just above the area you type in are icons you would see on any word processor program (Bold, Underline, etc).... Just above those icons are more icons. Click on the PaperClip icon. This will give you a new small screen where you select your photo, etc. At the top of this new, small screen click on "Browse" to locate your photo on your hard drive. Then click "Upload"... once it is uploaded, you are done with that photo and can then select another if desired.

When in the "Reply to Thread" text box, scroll down to "Manage Attachements" and you can attach them there. Else, you must put them on a web hosting site, such as PhotoBucket and include the URL link to the image using the "Insert Image" button (yellow, looks like a mountain with sun above it) just above the "Reply to Text" box.
There's a 'Test' area forum (look at the forums list) where you can practice this till you get it perfect.
