• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

opinion on 1" riser

Thanks bjt. That was my guess since your arms are still in the same relative position with respect to the mirrors. Riding bikes for 35-40 years, I like to know what's happening behind me, but statistics show that 77% of crashes occur from the front, 16% from the sides and only 7% from the rear. With the round spot mirrors in the corner, rear view is better and for now I can live (I hope) without the mirror extensions.

I have my mirrors adjusted so they just ketch the end of my handlebar grip and hand in the lower inside corner. I can see both to my blind side and behind me with this configuration.

LOVE my mirror extensions

I have the 1" riser without the mirror extensions. I put 2" adjustable spot mirrors on the rearviews and that helped quite a bit. Will put on the extesions in the near future.

I seem to be the only one who doesn't like the 1" riser. I found there to be no difference and still get a burning in my shoulders.
