• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Open Trunk or Seat with DEAD Battery

I have not had this happen yet, but someone probability has, how do you open the trunk, or seat, if the battery is completely dead?

You don't need the battery with an RS. The releases are mechanical not electrical.

I don't know about the RT..

But if you happen to lock your key in the frunk. Many have:lecturef_smilie: you can remove the left silver (mine) panel and jerk the cable to open the frunk. RT is a little different but same concept.

On the RT, they both open from the key with the power off. You press the key IN and turn it one way to open the frunk and the other for releasing the seat. I use it all the time. I rarely use the electrical frunk release.

Hope that helps.

That how I do mine as well. Since I have the Corbin seat and removed the pin I don't have to worry about the seat.
