• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

oops!!

Let me get this: as a kid he does not have the right to tell right from wrong? Will anyone have these jerk reaction if it was an handicap in a wheel chair trying to pass? An old person? Why should anyone not say anything just cause a cop is involved? Where is the lack of respect in this kid?? And mostly why kids should respect anyone just cause they are older ot wear a uniform??

This thread took an interesting turn--but--the other side has some valid points also. In this time, and at my age, I don't see myself challenging the law if they are doing something such as the incident mentioned. Some officers would go out of their way to make your life miserable if you were to try the above. They do have a lot of leverage and a lot of friends. :dontknow: I prefer to fight my battles carefully and don't go looking for new ones.

I couldn't agree with you more.

I think Jeremy's video skills are a little lacking and doesn't that police officer look a little bit like Lamont?

It may be the beer or perhaps the shot of whiskey talking but I say kudos to the kid. Yes he is a cop and yes most of us wouldn't have cared much, but if we parked our bikes like that we would have gotten a ticket without fail. Besides that if a citizen asks a police officer for their badge number several times, if they are not doing something wrong, they gladly give it. Call me an a hole if you want but I still say kudos to the kid.

I agree. Kudos to the kid. The cop was the a hole!!

My question is why now. This video is over a year old and the officer in question do not even work with that department any longer. So post it now?????

"Why now?"

Why not?

Whether this happened a year ago, or yesterday, changes nothing.

Both, the cop and the kid were pushing the envelope the way I see it. But, that's just my humble opinion.

There's one thing to find yourself in trouble, but to go looking for it is another. He obviously learned that from somewhere! Some folks don't take too well at being poked at.
