• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

only 270 lbs. !

Lift. Drag , turbulence , I don't know , but I do know that the tear drop trailer has been around for a very long time and is a tried and PROVEN model , and as for the cost , apparently some of you guys are still living in the times when the first teardrops came out ! in my opinion and we all know about opinions , is that this trailer is very compatible with any other tow able for a spyder for the price point. just do a little research before you sound off and show us your intelligence or lake of. JUST SAYING.

Here's what Mother Nature has to say about which end the long taper needs to be on!

Actually I think it's a pretty neat trailer. It's just that mine wins in the area of inside volume and towing size and has a dramatic advantage in cost. But, in the area of looks and class, the one above is the no brainer winner!

That is one fine trailer you built Waswinger ! I did a ton of research and have built many camping projects , but at this point in my life time is more precious for riding . We ended up buying a Trail master Aspen knockoff for $2,600 and have logged about 12K in it so far . but you sir have a fine looking rig.

Not sure I can get my wife and our three Giant Schnauzers in it but might be worth a try. Got to admit, it looks more Bear proof than the others. I like it. Think of the possibilities!

$5000

$5000 before you load the options... WOW....! ! ! :yikes:
That'll buy you a whole lot of nights at a motel... and you wouldn't have to worry about where to go
Pee Pee in the middle of the night either....
and don't be surprised when some
Drunk'n Ding-Dong comes along in the middle of the night and start pounding on the side of it, thinking it's funny....
i've had that happen all too many times at various events - i now will ONLY stay at a hotel/motel at a safe distance from events....
otherwise, it's kind'a cook....

:agree:....That's sweet ...until you get to the price...........But that aside, I would have mounted the POD on the trailer ...in reverse of the way they did it ....for aerodynamic reasons .........I suppose you could do that if you bought it ????.........Mike
don't think that would work mike. the bulk of the weight would be behind the axel and no tongue weight at all. nice thiought, but probably a no go!

They are all nice, but at this stage, my wife considers Best Western as close to camping as she is willing to consider.

:agree: My MIssus considers it to be camping, if room service shuts down before midnight... :banghead:

Yeah, my wife considers Holiday Inn Express roughing it!

There was a time when pitching a tent or (oh, the luxury) having a sample trailer would have been fine. But as I've gotten older, I tend to agree with those ladies!
