• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

One VERY Lucky Young Man!!

Good on him----

Hope he get a good heart soon.

But how come the medical industry can't cure the common cold virus. Or any other virus, or RA, Pnumonia, cancer, ah heck---tooth decay.

If they did they would be out of a job :yikes::yikes:

I remember the very first heart transplant in the news. The man's name was Barney (Clark??). He was attached to a very large pump system (not portable) and he lived about a week before complications set in.

Medicine has come a very long ways today. Amazing that this system worked for 555 days and they were able to perform a transplant when a heart became available.

Hoping this is the magic bullet.

A friend of mine and fellow Airline Pilot and Military Pilot Bob Root, was 72 and had the very same machine for almost two years. Unfortunately, age being a factor he was always at the bottom of the list to receive a new heart. His time ran out and he past away a year ago.

That's an amazing story. A positive attitude can go a long way. Prayers for no rejections and a long healthy life.
