There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On April 24, 2015, the main, Midtown Manhattan branch of Carnegie Deli was closed temporarily due to the discovery of an illegal gas line in the restaurant. Con Edison was investigating the restaurant.[SUP][3][/SUP] On July 28, 2015, Carnegie Deli was subsequently closed for upgrades to its energy lines after the discovery of improperly siphoning off natural gas for the previous six years.[SUP][4][/SUP] Time Out magazine reported it reopened on February 9, 2016. I also believe there was some family strife.
I only ate there once while back home on a visit. I ordered the Woody Allen sandwich. I think it set me back like $22.00 or something like that. It was, hands down, the absolute best pastrami and corned beef sandwich I ever ate in my life. Now I have what some might describe as a "hearty" appetite. Having said that, I was unable it finish that sandwich in a single sitting. Oh, did I mention the pickles? Each table had a bowl of pickles, the kind you used to be able to buy at the local deli right out of the barrel for a nickle.
I may have to give Katz deli a shot the next time I'm home. However, if they fail I will no longer have any reason to visit Manhattan. And for the record, the Carnegie Deli they have in Las Vegas is a joke and can't hold a candle to the original. But hey, at least I still have Nathans Hot Dog stand in Coney Island.
