• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Good Morning All:

Hope this finds all well with you. "Studly", trailer and I left Chelan on Thursday. Met fellow Spyder Ryders from Camano Island, Steven and Roslyn Shulman and we spent Thursday evening with my family in Coeur d' Alene, ID. Montana had been having some winter weather but all looked good on radar when we started out AND IT WAS...just the day before many on motorcycles were "holing up" in motels because of the storms coming thru the Boseman/Belgrade area. We had a gorgeous ryde to Livingston, MT. Next morning we headed into Yellowstone from the Gardiner entrance. We had tentatively planned on going over Beartooth and then down to Cody, WY..But at park entrance we learned from the ranger that Beartooth was still closed as they were in process of cleaning off approx 3 feet of fresh snow (we learned later that day that Beartooth opened later that day...but opening to vehicle traffic and motorcycle traffic is two different opinions IMHO) so we took highway 296, Chief Joseph Scenic Highway...totally gorgeous and as I read of the Nez Perce history and I try in my mind to "join in"... from a my perception. I've always prided myself on being self-sufficient and a survivor....folks I am a first class WHIMP when it comes to comparing myself to this women (and the kids, men and even their animals). Same with the pioneer women. I've always wanted to go back (oh yea 72 hr maximum!!) and live in those times and I am dead serious when I say 72 hours...pretty sure I would be yelling get me back to 2014!!! Truly makes me appreciate even more what my ancestors went through so that I can have the privilege and freedom to ryde my Studly Can-Am Spyder across our incredible AMERICA.

Cody, WY has an incredible museum...if you haven't been...put it on your list of Must Do...we were there when it opened...well done and they partner with the Smithsonian (and I have literally spent a couple weeks going thru WA DC Smithsonian...they are the BEST of best when it comes to museums...). I completed my stroll thru the Cody museum before my traveling companions and so went outside and met a horse (with cowboy on back) who had never experienced a WA apple..his owner said he has never eaten an apple. So Mr. Roan !/4 horse takes this teeny little nibble...that's all it took. Horsey is now hooked on WA apples!!!! There you go Chelan Fresh/Derin B another market to sell those Chelan apples to!!!!!

We left Cody around 1 p.m. .. nice ryde on 120 then we got on hiway 20 to Riverton, WY...absolutely gorgeous...stopped at a little town on 120 (so small not on map and I didn't write down the name. They had a bar, cafe, restaurant (all one business) and a service station..but one of the locals was getting married and they were having a party...how fun for anyone that lived there, stopped and just said wow now this is enjoying life..

After lunch we looked at skies and soooo not looking good, so got out the rain gear...15 drops later we entered Thermopolis and it was 85...off with the rain gear...gorgeous ryde down 20 to Riverton. This a.m. we are living "early" for us..seeing some reallllly attractive roads as we work toward Durango (arrive there sometimes Monday afternoon) and BRP scheduled Can-Am Spyder Owner's Event. Spyders are headed to Durango from all points USA and Canada.

This morning I tried to catch the microwave on fire...didn't work I'm pretty fast with the stop button...gheesh I was only trying to have hot coffee...guess it either didn't like my gourmet coffee, or the plastic cup that Motel 6 provided!!!! So I am drinking iced coffee...hey it works!!!

OK folks, just wanted to give you an update...sun is up...time to pack up and see if there is any movement from my ryding partners..

Have a great day,

Karyl/murphybrown
