• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On my way to SpyderQuest

I left home this morning & I've stopped for lunch. I'm going to SQ by way of Poplar Bluff, Mo, where JT will install some stuff on my Spyder.

A shout out to the Spyder riders I met when I stopped for gas. They live in Grain Valley, Mo. He's an Aussie. He said he's on SL but couldn't remember his handle. She's in GOS.

That's a pretty good run at 480 miles today... bet she is tired when she gets here.

Have a safe ride. Five Spyders are leaving here on Tuesday morning, sticking to back roads to make a two day trip of it to Lake George . . . and we pick up a sixth Spyder on the morning of day two . . .

Leaving Thursday morning for SpyderQuest

Leaving from Chelsea on Thursday morning around 07:45AM.
Going down the 416 to Ogdensburg then the scenic route trough the mountains.

If anyone want to join us, we can meet somewhere along the route.

If not, we will meet you at SpyderQuest.

Now I've settled in to a Comfort Inn in Willow Springs, I've had supper, and can post from my lap-top instead of my phone. So my posts can be a bit more informative. I got really tired & sleepy this afternoon between KC and Springfield. That sometimes happens on my first travel day because I may not have slept so well the night before. I also was avoiding colas along the way, but not drinking enough water. Dehydration and lack of caffeine can be deadly!! :gaah: At one point not far from Springfield I must have dozed and my right tire went onto the shoulder where the pavement was a bit lower than the road lane. It startled me and I got back onto the road. I had planned on stopping at Pitbull to say "Hi" and maybe get some coffee. At a light a guy told me my trailer lights weren't working, so asked them to look at it at Pitbull. They replaced the trailer wiring module (?) - $160 and I was on my way.

I'm still about 2 hours from JT's. He was gracious enough to let me come tomorrow morning instead of tonight, and I'll get some rest. now.

I can't wait to meet ya'll at SQ!!
