I'm selling both of my Spyders because you all hate me. I can't get a straight answer about oil, tire pressure, windshields, warranty, oil, belts, oil, guns, oil, heat, vendors, prices, oil. Ummmm, what did I leave out? Oh yeah, my wife said it's time for my medicine.

Oil what oil

My dealer never said anything about oil, at pick up he went through the spyder top to bottom but never once mentioned this oil you talk off.

He just said gas up and ride, how come in all of the BRP leaflets and commercials they don't mention oil either. This is the last straw, all these hidden extras I have to buy, I'm selling it.

if it supposed have this oil stuff then it should have come with it.

What type of oil did you put on yours, where did you get it from, did you do it youself or did your dealer install, does adding it void your warrenty and how much did it cost.

UPDATE:

I looked at the manual, glad I did, I don't have to worry. BRP put some sort of light on the dash that tells you when to install this oil gadget.

I haven't added any yet so going to see how it runs I will add it later if I need it I will just keep my eye out for the light on the dash.


UPDATE 2:

I'm so mad right now!, I'm going to get legal advice and sue BRP, how can they desgin some thing this bad. I have oil all over the garage, all over the spyder. I turned on the key and I saw the oil light icon. I hadn't even started the engine so not sure how long it's been on or how I missed it.

No matter how much oil I put in it does not go out, turn it off, add oil, turn on lights up right away. I must be using the wrong type or the lights broke, going to put some electrical black tape over it for now, I can imagine once I start the engine and ride that little icon is going to drive me nuts.

Boy I hope I do not have to add any thing else, my friend tried to wind me up, I was laughing when he told me I had to put water in this thing. I was rolling, I think its so funny when they get mixed up and think its a seadoo.

My phone cant work on my Spder. Ever time I pull out of the garage the phone quit. I done get it. Does anyone else have this problem? I cant get answer from BuRP and my dealer ain't no help. They siad i neded a longer chord. I switched to Food Lion oil because sumboody on anuther tread siad it will work. Now my spdyer smeels like fried chiken. Whut cent dew you us to get rid of smeel?
