• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Old Spyder

Drove over to Hurricane Utah from Washington Utah (only 20 miles) to catch a movie and dinner. After the movie we were walking over to Durango's Mexican Food Restaurant to grab a bite to eat when what do I see but a very familiar looking 2011 Pearl White RT Limited. Walk over to it to check it out and low and behold its my old machine. Luggage rack and all the farkles I added were obvious. Gave her a few strokes, told her I missed her but it was obvious that someone was enjoying her and taking good care of her as she was very clean and shiny and it has been raining for days. Went into Durango's and almost immediately spotted the new owners. Something about a Spyder Ryder that you can spot. Followed them outside as they were just leaving with their too go order and visited with them about my old flame, all the mods I made and how happy they were with her. Made me feel good to know that she went to a good home and is with someone that really loves her like I did. But enough of that and on to my new love, 2014 Pearl White RT Limited. Had to go home and ride the new girl around for a while to get over missing the old flame.

Hello Neighbor

Hey Utah Geezer,
Glad to see your past Rt went to a good home. We live in Chicago now but recently bought a home in St George (Bloomington Sub). Look forward to meeting you if your up to it once we arrive. Planning on being there early August. Good to know a fellow Spyder lover in town.

Common Ground

Mr. Duece: We have a few thing in common. I grew up in Illinois. Army took me out west and I stayed here when I got out. Grew up in a small farm town called Leroy down by Bloomington/Normal. Have lived in the St. George area since I met my wife and moved here back in 81. You are moving here at the hottest time of the year but you will love it here 9 months of the year. We have a great Can Am dealer here also and quite a few Spyders in the area. There is a group of riders but I don't belong. I'm still working fulltime and most of my riding is with the wife or other friends. Great group of riders in the Vegas area also. I know a few of them as well. Give me a ring when you get out here and I'll show you around. I was a police officer here for 32 years. I'm retired from law enforcement but now supervise Code Enforcement and Animal Welfare Services as a civilian. You are going to love this area for riding. Its one of the best in the world for motorcycling. Look forward to meeting you.

I still have the same old girl I met in 2008, had some issues ( nothing serious ) but still the same. Not sure if I could part with her after all the farkles and getting the kinks out.
