• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

"Old Coots on Scoots"

I am a member of the Rio Rancho, NM "Old Coots on Scoots" chapter 43 and we are now the largest chapter of Old Coots in the world with 198 members. The group is just a bunch of riders who love to ride and we get together every week for a ride and lunch. Most of the riders ride HD's but there are 5 spyders in our group, doesn't matter what you ride, just so you ride. Just wondering how many of the spyder riders out there are members of other chapters of the organization. The only rule in the organization is that there are no rules!!! We have a great time together.

Spyder Ryders

We have a group of Spyder Ryders called Mahoning Valley Spyder Ryders and we meet every month. At present we have about 40 active members and ryde all the time, except in the winter months. All ages are welcome.

What's a Coot?

Rules..!!

like the rules..our group is open to all but we only have a few bikes..maybe we have too many rules....:roflblack:

I'm the old man in our group. Most of the guys are in their mid to late 20s, early to mid 30s. The next closest to me is 4 years younger. We're all military. They joke a lot about my age and I don't mind it.

The Red Head and I ride with a church group from Newark Ohio.No rules here either.About 10 of us hard core riders and about 10 more some timers. Two or three of us will usally clock about 20,000 miles a year.I am the old fart in the group at 74.My friend the Red Head spends the winters on Pine Island.I will be ridding down to her house some time in Feb,on her spyder and staying a few weeks. Will go to bike week in March for a few days.We have our reservations for Spyder Fest in Mo.this spring This will be our first Spyder event but looking forward to menny more.

Maybe you should start 1!!!!
