Old Car with F3 front end

Saw this photo of a 1954 Kurtis 500 from the Pismo Beach Car Show this weekend. The front end reminds me of an F3

I've said it before......

This is the car that looks like the F3! This one is quite famous too! Can you tell me why?

That particular Lotus Seven (if it is the original KAR 120C it is a Demo model Series II Lotus Seven) was used in 'The Prisoner' Television Series - it was a kit car so supposedly 'the prisoner' aka 'Number Six' was able to assemble it himself.

I think the real/original 'KAR120C Lotus Seven' ended up in Australia...

I have always thought that the F3 looked like a mid 50's Indy car from the front.
