• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ol' Farmer John comes into town one day and runs into Banker Fred.

F: "John, how are you? I haven't seen you for quite awhile. Understand you lost your wife awhile back."

J: "That's right. She passed away little over 2 years ago. Over 60 years together, but I'm doing quite well now. In fact, I'm going to get married in a couple of weeks!"

F: "Really? Who is she and where did you meet her?"

J: "Met her on the Internet! She's 35, slim, trim, fit, and full of vigor and energy. I'm excited!"

F: Thinking to himself, "Hmm, married over 60 years to the same woman. 80 something years old. This guy is going to need help keeping that woman down on the farm."

F: "John, I was just thinking. I know you have had most all your farm rented out for several years but I'm sure there are still a lot of things to do to keep it in shape that take up a lot of your time. And, you know, you're not getting any younger. What you ought to do is get yourself a hired hand to help out. Then you and the new missus can go traveling, take cruises, and do all sorts of things and not worry about the farm!"

J: "Sounds like a good idea! I'll think about it!"

About 9 months later John comes into town again and runs into Fred.

F: "John, good to see you! How's life with the new young wife?"

J: "Oh, just wonderful! Haven't been this happy for years. We've been on trips and cruises and out to dinners and just all sorts of stuff! And, believe it or not Fred, she's pregnant!"

F: "Oh really? What about the hired hand? Did you get one?"

J: "That was a great idea, Fred. Yes, I did. I know you might not want to believe this, but she's pregnant too!!!"
