• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Okay; Who got what for thier Spyder this year???

Yes there are other threads but the sena version does not come with the bracket or harness for the can am. Some have made their own. I would really rather have OEM plug n play on this one.

Gotcha

So the pics I see of the Can Am one it's on a bracket? I thought it looked like it was plugged into something, I don't have a radio so don't know how these things are set up.

Carry on... lol

Not sure if this is a gift for the Spyder....but Mark pulled my rear wheel Christmas day to replace the tire and found that the wheel bearings will not turn and will have to work to figure out what is wrong....just saying

A touch of T.L.C. can always be appreciated!
(Do you think that some funky wheel bearings could have been wrecking your fuel economy??) :dontknow:

Well my hubby Dennis got me a ginormous Sock Monkey to sit in the passenger seat of my RT. It's bigger than my two grandsons!!!! Many of the ladies on GOS are into sock monkeys and I do have several small ones that I've made vests for. Guess he thought I needed another buddy. lol

Got my extended warranty for my 2012 Lava Bronze. Wife got me some "things" for the toy hauler I'm building too. Santa said wait till Spyderfest for the Ultimate seat, Cat bypass and belt stabilizer. Very good Christmas had all the kids and grandkids here for the first time (due to an uncooperative ex of my son's). Very blessed time

Not much of a gift... but a nice quiet relaxing day watching movies at home with the dogs! (Some of you know why this happened).
Presents come later... Wife wants to do some shopping when we head out to Florida to spend New Years... I think I might get some things too!;)

Spydie got new
Seal Concepts Deluxe RT-SE-5 Floorboards. I got to put them on which meant before it was over a trip to Lowe's Kobalt Tool department for a better Torx Socket set in 1/4 inch drive and a new deep 11MM Deep 6 point socket.

Then I got the honor of having to put them on which meant laying on the cold concrete garage floor with a Mini-Mag flashlight stuck in my mouth for light. When I got off the floor the first time I found an old used blanket that is multi-purpose use to lie on. What a difference that made.

I suppose that you've got an even bigger reason to solve all of the "heat" issues on your bike; we sure don't want to hear that you've been "roasting chestnuts"...
