• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok so it was my turn to try it.

I stopped by Lewisville,Yamaha in Texas and met up with Troy gave me quick basics of the Spyder and was off on my test drive around the back lot. I was able to try the RT and RS-S. I loved it, big difference in seat posture I thought I was not gonna like the RS but I was just as comfortable just different seating style.

Not being on a motorcycle before I was not used to how a light touch is needed on the throttle so gunned it a little at first and quickly got used to it, also made me feel the power of it.

Im sold but I'm pretty sure I want the ST think it will be perfect option for me between RS and RT. I was unsure on manual and the semi auto but I think semi auto is the way to go for me. I can't wait to test drive the ST they should have them next month.

Well Troy was real nice and made me feel comfortable with something I never tried before so I guess I found my Dealership.

Now to get funds and training class done.

Welcome to the PARTEEE!! :2thumbs: :ohyea::yes::ohyea::yes:
Deciding which Spyder is best is kind of like trying to decide between Blondes, Brunettes, or Redheads...
The correct choice is... "YES!"

Yeah get the class done. My biggest regret is not taking the class before I got the spyder, but it is okay because now I can take the class on my own spyder. Good luck with your spyder life. :doorag:

Osros...you coming to the International Show next weekend...there will be a good size group on Saturday....they will have the ST there

troy was my saleman also they have great service and really don't take you to the cleaners when it comes to labor charges.i recommend you get the service contract when you buy your spyder unless you plan on doing all the service, but not being to mech inclined was not willing to try to work on the bike like they say you break it you buy it rather have them break it then me..lol if you have any questions about N.T.Y. just email me.
