• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

OK...So I'm a Whimp!

I understand and respect your views. However it would make it a little tough on over the road trucks if they couldn't tow more than their tractors weigh. Towing heavy loads takes a skillful driver. I have many years of driving big rigs and feel very comfortable with my setup. But I agree it's not for everybody.:D
Different story when you have duals, tandem axles, and a fifth wheel, as well as air brakes...IMO. Different with a heavier pickup, too. I don't worry so much about the towing driver as the other idiot drivers and the road conditions. If you get bumped, and get a heavy trailer swaying, the tail wags the dog. Not so much fun if you are riding the dog. No sense in pushing the limits if I don't have to. I may not have a shower or kitchen, but the cargo trailer hauls the toys just fine...and well within my comfort zone. Being in a wreck sitting under the trailer that landed on your cab, just isn't as much fun as it sounds. :D

Here are a couple of pictures of my Spyder loaded into it's "Spyder Nest". I'm now using E-Track to tie the Spyder down. Got two 2" wide E-Track ratcheting tie down straps. Works great. Sorry it took so long! Been out ryding!
:ohyea: Spent the last 3 days in the Cocoa Beach area.

Your Spyder is inside the Spyders Nest and your Spyders Nest is inside a carport ??? What is your carport in ??? Now that Spyder is double protected for sure !!!:roflblack::roflblack: It looks great in there.

A gated community of course. :lecturef_smilie:

I know, I know the proper way to attend the Maggie Valley is to Ryde. But circumstances may require us to make a trip to Wisconsin after the rally and we thought, why not take the Spyder? So we purchased this little 16' toy hauler. It has over 11' of garage and 5' of house. What do ya think?
The first two pictures were from the dealer's lot before I restriped it.

Very nice rig. And don't worry about what others think.
It's not how you get there, it's that your there.

Some people have iron butts and don't mind sharing the road with 18 wheelers. I'm not one of them. The highway doesn't really bother me but five hours on that Spyder seat is about all I can handle.

only thing to worry about is advertising you have a spyder inside for thieves ... i know but they are out there...
Below is my Spyder hauler. No one would ever know I had a Spyder in there.

: But I tow it with this ... The best truck ever made.
I'm confused, the truck in your picture looks like a Toyota not a Ford.
