Reading that article, I'm not sure that the word scooter is really indicative of what they are describing.

I'm pretty sure that the word scooter describes a two-wheeled vehicle? That's what it means to me, at least!

They did refer to the spyder as a "motorcycle crossover", but they discussed it as if it was a scooter. The whole article was about scooters so I guess it is up to interpretation...
