• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok is this a little weird?

I'm kinda used to people coming up to me in parking lots to ask questions about the Spyder and to see it up close... pretty much everywhere I go on it. But Friday afternoon in traffic, a pickup truck driver rolled down his window and took a picture of me on the Spyder while stuck in traffic! Little weird that. :dontknow:

He was grinning from ear to ear though. Gave me a thumbs-up and showed me the pic he'd just snapped (I had helmet on so couldn't really hear what he was saying, I just gave him a thumbs-up back).

I don't even HAVE a photo of myself on my Spyder... LMAO! ROF!

Anyways... roll on and be safe ya'll!

It happens a lot. It's the :spyder2: super star thingy.:yes:

Many pictures taken by roadies and my favorite was the State Trooper that passed me by and gave a thumbs up.

Not really...

It is a good thing we have three wheels cause it's hard to keep both hands on the bars...:roflblack::roflblack: never waved so much..!!

About to weeks ago at a stop light I had a woman get out of her F150 two lanes to my right run over and ask me what I was driving! :yikes:

You just never know. :banghead:

Wow.....

Lucky that she did not get run over. Like you said - you never know.

Lots of strange things have happened to me while riding or going to my Spyder after coming out of a store. But I have to admit - yours takes the cake.

Last summer, I had my picture taken on my Spyder going west out of Ottawa, Ontario on the 417.

It was by a women passenger .......... on another Spyder!

interesting! I had all kinds for stuff happen. People taking pictures of me/spyder on interstate. Stop in street/ stop light to ask about it. Come out of shopping center to find people wandering around my spyder.

I have a spyder sticker on my air dam and people stop and look at my 14 RT and just love the sticker on the air dam. They ask if that is why they call them spyders? I love to talk about mine so I'll always be happy to spend time chatting with new people.

Several years ago, I still had my 09 GS at the time. I was driving down the road in heavy traffic. Maybe doing 45 or 50 mph. A girl in the backseat in the car ahead of me climbed out her window and sat on the window sill. She started taking pictures of me. I backed off thinking I needed more room to steer around the body bouncing off the pavement if needed.

Yes, we see all sorts of photos being taken when we are inside a restaurant, having ice cream or whatever when the machine is parked. Also, have had all sorts of photos at stop lights, while riding and maybe a few from running red lights...

regardless of that, when I show the wife photos of these two dogs, she just melts.

The Missus and I were once out on the Interstate highway, and a fellow whizzing by on a Kawasaki KLX650 pulled a camera out of his jacket pocket to take some pictures...
