Ok I'm Hooked

So last Sat my son and I took a hundred mile ride, mine Raider his Warrior well we outran the rain and had a good ride, except when we stopped for lunch and I had to backup to get pointed out of the lot, that's a problem for me as I have COPD, riding is a piece of cake but backing is a killer that's a minimum 5 min break to catch my breath. Well I don't know what got me thinking but I started looking at Spyders may be the thought of reverse, did research Sat night and all day Sun, Mon. went to local dealer he had a ST & F3 sat on both the St was off my list, Tue. drove 65 mi one way to sit on a RT didn't like the position that's out, today back to the local for road test on the F3 WELL that's all it took I'M HOOKED. I was afraid I would be trading my backup problem for having to use my body in the corners and have the breathing problem there, that didn't happen. I found the F3 a tick twitchy in the curves on the way out but coming back I pretty much had that licked. Now waiting for Sat to see if the price comes down a bit, dealer is stuck at $19,5 and won't budge I'm looking for more like $18,+ a little, I'm willing to travel some if anyone knows of a good deal in the northeast or eastern NY would like an S but if not I can ad cruise to plain model. Well that's my story hope to be an owner within a week. ( I'm new to forums if I didn't do this right)

:welcome: and congrats on a fine choice! I have an F3 and am very satisfied with it. Just added cruise and a few other farkles. The miles just keep getting better! I came from a v-rod and also preferred the more cruiser-like sitting position of the F3. Good luck with your purchase!

You may want to try I Motorsports a sponsor dealer on this site. They have real good prices for the Spyders. Also their price includes shipping or they will give you a one-way ticket to Ohara Airport where they will pick you up and take you to the dealership to pick-up your machine. Worth a look.:dontknow:

:welcome: Like others, I would recommend holding off on biting the bullet. A little over two days and the reveal information for 2016 will be out. There will be deals to be found if you look. A dealer who stands firm, sometimes loses out on a sale.

I can't say where he'd be at on price but Chuck at http://www.dasilvamotorsports.com/ gave me a pretty good deal on my RT. What I like about this place is, nine out of ten times you call, he (Chuck the owner) answers the phone himself. He's in Moultonborough, his brother Paul is in Hampstead.
