• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

today i went out to put the shocks on the 14rt but i found it really difficult to get my big mitts up to where the top bolt is, the 13 was not a problem but the 14 with the extra radiators and them being up front there is hosing and very little room at the top. so now i have a appointment to bring the bike in next Wednesday to get them installed. i had the bike lifted on a jack and still couldn't get to the bolt. i really think the nose needs to come off to do the job and i just don't have the oomph to do it. i hate feeling old

Mine go on the day after tomorrow. I took one look up under there and decided that it was a job for my mechanic :lecturef_smilie: And yes you're right, getting old is no fun at all.

Pulling the frunk off is not difficult, If lived nearby I would come over and help. Even on the 11 it was much easier with the frunk off so I understand your dilemma.

any idea what it is going to cost you to have it done, my dealer writes at 98 dollars a hour and he estimated at least 2 hours to do the job

 I think that your dealer isn't looking to save you any money... My guess would be, that it'd take about an hour... max!

Hang in their John. It sucks to get/be old. Even if I were not, I would still have to take it to the shop. For me--:spyder2: mechanicals are scary. :yikes:

What's all this talk of getting/being old? Y'all are a bunch of sissies.

He said as he sits there with ice packs on one knee and a heat pad on the other cracking and snapping like a bowl of rice krispies every time he moves.

Then you have to look back to make sure nothing fell off when you moved!

Ride Now Sports owns most of the dealerships here in Arizona and writes at $130 per hour. Your lucky John. Two dealers here in Tucson and both are Ride Now Sports. yuk

Old is a state of mind
My motto
If my son can do it so can I
Might have to change that to:
If my grandson can do it so can I
Don

Why does a new 2014 need shocks?
