• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Oil tank strainer - O ring???

Is the O ring on the oil strainer a standard size available at an auto supply? Trying to avoid
ordering something this common.

If you want to try to match it up, the one on the dipstick is the same. Not sure that you will find one, this one is pretty thick and pretty soft. To be sure not to lose any oil after it is replaced, I'd get one from a Spyder dealer. BTW, if the purpose is just to clean your strainer, The o-ring is usually not damaged. Clean it and inspect it, lubricate it and reuse it.

Ah, now there you go with reason and logic again! How is anyone going to make a buck with this approach? :lecturef_smilie:
