• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

oil leak or normal?

in the picture below i noticed a small collection of oil (few ml's). Could this be coming from the area that is circled? is it a breather vent? there is no oil in the filter and this is actually below the filter so i was wondering if that could be it. Oil level is tip top full, assuming I measured it correctly - I followed the instructions on the panel where the dipstick is located.

Probably just spilled oil when filling. Just poor followup by someone. Clean it good and check again after riding. I'd say you'll not see it again.

I noticed the same on a Ryker that was sitting on the showroom floor. Since it was new with only 2 miles, I just guessed that the tech spilled a little while doing the pre-inspection service.

I’ve seen many with oil in that spot, even mine. I cleaned mine and no more oil. Makes me happy to be an easy fix but makes me sad that proper prep seems to be at such a low level at some places. IMO

I had the same on both of my Rally's..... Cleaned it and never come back... so Im guessing it is something to do with the newness..:dontknow:
